Since 1988, SJBA has been growing together with our community!

From our early days, members and devotees of the Subang Jaya Buddhist Association (SJBA) have worked hand in hand — organizing countless Dhamma talks, meditation classes and retreats, community services, and fellowship activities. Over the years, SJBA Vihara has blossomed into a lively and caring Dhamma center for Buddhists in and around Subang Jaya.

Understanding the importance of nurturing our younger generations, the SJBA Sunday Dhamma School has, since 1989, been lovingly guided by our dedicated principal and teachers. Through their patience and commitment, thousands of children have learned the Dhamma and wholesome life values that will stay with them for life.

In 1993, the SJBA Youth Section was formed to bring Dhamma to young hearts. Their many activities — including popular Dhamma Camps with over 100 participants — have helped youths develop friendships, teamwork, confidence, and leadership skills, all grounded in Buddhist values.

Throughout the years, SJBA has also reached out beyond our walls — from tsunami and flood relief efforts to community service projects — and received overwhelming support from our members, devotees, and the public.

All these achievements are only possible because of the guidance of the Sangha, and the kind support of our members, devotees, and well-wishers.
