The children of the SJBA SDS are to be spiritually educated to do good, to avoid evil and to purify the mind through Buddhism

 

Our Mission
• Theravada Buddhism is the basis of all teachings in the SJBA SDS

 

Objectives of the SJBA SDS

• To learn about the life of Gotama Buddha from birth to maha parinibbana

• To understand and practise the teachings of the Buddha

• To appreciate Buddhist values through the Jataka Tales and the Life of the Buddha

• To cultivate the mind – the Buddhist way

• To prepare for Buddhist Examinations/Quizzes
